Friends, there’s a new school opening for 2017-18 called Tree Academy. It’s co-founded by Paul Cummins, the founder of Crossroads and New Roads Schools. I haven’t see the school, but I’m thinking of going to the Open House in November to learn more about it.

  1. Hi there! TREE Academy was founded in 2016. 2018-19 will be year THREE for us.
TREE serves grades 6–11 and will add grade 12 in 2019. With just 10 students per class, TREE Academy specializes in individualized instruction in math, English, history, science and foreign language. It offers 27 electives, a life-skills course and an Inner Peace curriculum to support students in discovering who they are and what they love.

TREE welcomes high achievers as well as those who feel disillusioned, students with burning passions or with alternative-learning modes — all looking for a student-centered, college-ready approach dedicated to environmental sustainability and social justice. We have an open house tomorrow, Saturday, July 14th (2-3PM).
